"If I manage to make one thing clear in this review, it's that the Samsung UE40B7020 TV is brilliant. The 1080p is so clear that it's practically like looking through an empty frame.

The picture quality is superlative; the blacks are deeper than ever and the colours are as vibrant as a bolt of lightning. Compared to previous LCD TV's I have owned in the past, the samsung led TV's are a cut above the rest. I'm not sure on the Sony 200Hz motionflow against this TV but the picture looks very smooth indeed. When I say flat screen, I really mean flat! There is literally no room wasted when hooking the thing to the wall and blends into its surroundings seamlessly.

Thoroughly recommended for anyone who seeks exceptional quality from their television!"

Picture perfect
Up the quality to DVD and the good news keeps coming. Picture noise is suppressed mercilessly, colours – skin tones especially – are agreeable and levels of black detail are a match for the best. Motion’s smooth, too.

Blu-ray images are the nicest of all. The Samsung UE40B7020 is brilliant across the board, combining excellent detail, believable colours, smooth edge definition and rock-solid movement into an extremely enjoyable whole.

It’s not without flaws: sound is no great shakes, being predictably lightweight, and poorer-quality TV broadcasts are done no favours at all.

But overall, this is an impressive set – doubly so considering it hardly exists in the third dimension at all.

"I bought the Samsung UE40B7020 LED having read many reviews about it,to replace an old sony lcd,it really is thin compared to my old sony,the must publicsed widgets are easy to use but having to fork out for the wireless dongle needed to access the internet is short sighted on samsung's part,overall HD pics are excellent as well as standard def stuff,feed it skyHD or BD pictures and you will be impressed..
